Support
Need help with TarJim? You're in the right place. Most questions are answered below. For anything else, email us — we typically respond within 1–2 business days.

1. Where does processing happen?
Everything runs on your iPhone or iPad. Audio, transcripts, and translations never leave your device. There is no server side to TarJim — no account, no upload, no cloud processing. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
2. Why does processing take a few minutes?
TarJim runs powerful speech-recognition and translation models locally to keep your videos private. Processing time depends on video length, your device, and the quality tier you select in Settings. Faster tiers trade some accuracy for speed; the highest-accuracy tiers take longer but produce cleaner output.
3. How do I cancel my subscription?
Auto-renewing subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To cancel:
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select TarJim.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We cannot cancel on your behalf — Apple handles all subscription changes. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and has nothing to cancel.
4. I bought Pro but features aren't unlocked.
This usually clears in a few seconds. If it doesn't:
- Open TarJim.
- Go to Settings in the app.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. If the issue persists, email us with the date of purchase and we'll investigate.
5. I can't import a video.
TarJim supports MP4, MOV, and M4V files from your Photos library, the Files app, and the iOS share sheet. If a video won't import:
- Confirm the format is supported (MP4, MOV, M4V).
- Check that you have free storage on your device — long videos can require substantial temporary space.
- Restart the app and try again.
If it still won't load, email us with the video's source (Photos, AirDrop, etc.) and approximate duration.
6. How do I report a translation error?
AI-generated translations can occasionally contain mistakes, especially with technical terms or unusual phrasing. To report a specific error, email us with:
- The source language and target language.
- The input text (or a description of the source clip).
- The output text TarJim produced.
- What the correct output should be.
This kind of feedback directly improves how we tune future model versions.
7. Translations of religious or scriptural content
TarJim handles religious texts (such as the Torah, Bible, Quran, or Hadith) with care, but AI-generated translation can never replace a verified source or qualified scholarship. Always review and verify any religious or scriptural output against authoritative sources before sharing or using publicly. You are responsible for any final content you produce. See the Terms of Use for details.
8. Refunds
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion and must be requested through them, not through us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the TarJim purchase to request a refund.
9. Reporting a bug
If something is broken, please tell us. The most useful bug reports include:
- Your device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Pro 13").
- Your iOS or iPadOS version.
- The TarJim version (shown in Settings inside the app).
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if relevant.
Email reports to tarjim.ai.app@gmail.com. We read every message.
